Do you know the favorite fruit of Camiguin Island ? It is Lanzones. Every year the island celebrate Lanzones Festival. They rejoice by street dancing presenting the different tribes of Mindanao with complete colorful ethnic costumes. As they dance, the participants carry a basket of Lanzones in thanksgiving for abundant harvest. The Festival is held every third week of October. Aside from the street dancing contest there is also an agri-trade fair which showcases other products of Camiguin.
