Photo Hunters: Original

This week theme is "Original", the theme is confusing and it's very difficult to configure out what's for the original theme. I don't know if this photo is original. This picture is the place of Elvis Presley in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee.

Graceland-Elvis Presley’s Place. We visited here during my residence interview for US residency status. The place was so beautiful. Since was open for the public you can view the living room, music room, Elvis parents bedroom, dining room et cetera. There’s a spectacular display of Elvis awards and trophies. We also visited the Meditation Garden , where Elvis has been laid to rest.

Wordless Wednesday #22

Cebu Toaist Temple – Chinese Temple. This is located at Beverly Hills , Cebu City . If you want your fortune read and light joss sticks climb its 99 steps. You can see colorful and dragons, replica of the Great Wall of China . If you reach top you will see a perfect scenic view. There’s also souvenir shops. We stayed at the Waterfront Hotel. In the hotel you can play casino games in the lobby and they offer great foods.

Have you heard about blog awards? There are many different blog awards online like Rockin’ Girl Blogger. The awards are based on public votes with a set of criteria to be followed such as the content of information of your site, graphic design or the look, layouts or how it is organized, usability, or even functionality.

Explanation of these awards can be

Weekend Snapshot #3

Church of God , Mother Church . It is located in Cleveland , Tennessee . It's my hubby's Church and I considered it mine too. This Church is only one block away from our place. The church and its community commit to exalt God, to evangelize the lost, to edify and to equip the church for ministry.

Photo Hunters: Paper

Shredded Paper in strip-cut. This is my photo hunt theme for this week. These are colored papers. I took pictures of it because I liked its combination. It’s like a rainbow or a pompom. There are a lot of things you can do with your shredded paper like pillow and gift stuffing; it can be a great hair accessory for your Halloween costume and it can be an excellent support in packing in breakables in boxes.

This is my piggy bank. I bought this in the Philippines . These are loose change of my hubby. It's amazing how it mounts up. I saved it because he doesn’t want to carry coins with him. Just in five months, I saved 156 dollars worth of loose change. I guess, time to hit the slot machine. I am rich, he-he.

One hundred fifty and six dollars is already a lot of money in the Philippines. I am thinking to save more again so that I can send money to my family there.

Weekend Snapshot #2

All time favorite restaurant. We never get tired coming in this place. I always order, “The House Chicken Salad”. It is mixed with veggies, red cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, Roma tomatoes, cheddar and Jack cheese, friend onions, and chicken fingerz or grilled chicken of course with Texas toast. Try it now.

Photo Hunters: Plastic

Playtex Drop Ins. Anyone use them?

I have been using this bottle for years with my first child and still using it for second baby. Drop-Ins Disposable Bottle Liners are GREAT! The liners are available in 8 ounces and 4 ounces. These ready-formed liners are pre-sterilized. Liners will collapse as baby feeds, with less air, less colic and less gas after feeding.

This is my daughter. We bought her a monobloc mobile toy. She likes to play with the empty boxes than with the toy we gave her. Kids love them more than the toys that come in with them. With all the toys around her, she'd rather play with the box. I guess a child will quickly become bored with the toy and play with the box instead. They enjoy playing with boxes using their imagination.

Weekend Snapshot #1

My first post of Weekend Snapshot. I didn't have the chance to take some pictures this week. But this is what I took last night from my webcam. When I was in my 33 weeks of gestation/pregnancy of my second child, I craved for this Filipino cuisine soup. We called this “nilagang baka” or boiled beef mixed with vegetables. Vegetables will also affect the flavor of the broth. The most common choices are potatoes, carrots, Chinese cabbage or native cabbage, string beans, and to add to taste broccoli. Yummy!

This is my daughter, singing the ABC's.

My daughter wearing her new swim wear attire. Boracay, here we go! We are preparing for our trip in Boracay Island. I am not sure, I think hubby will arrive in the Philippines on the next day. At first, she was just posing for a picture. We were surprised when she sung the alphabet song.

One of the scenic views in Boracay Island . This was taken last June 2007. I'd park myself right under the umbrella with a book and a cold ice tea. Nice place for a vacation, the clouds looks amazing. With this kind of view you’d wish to have stayed longer.

Premiere Collection

People liked to collect things they loved the most. Some people tend to collect cute stuff toys, Ferrari matchbox and compilation of their favorite music. Me, I love to collect small and cute perfumes. I bought this perfume collection set while I’m aboard the Philippine Airlines plane last February 2007.
